About Sonic Jump

Sonic Jump is a vertical platform game with an original phone release in 2005 and a later smartphone remake. Regional phone releases followed in 2007.

Gameplay

The goal is upward progress across platforms. Smartphone tilt instructions are not presented as Java ME controls. Check the Help screen in this JAR for its direction-key mapping.

Controls

This Java copy is built for a phone keypad. The credits used here do not print which number is accelerate, shoot or pass, so those keys are not invented on this page. In the browser player, the arrows and 2, 4, 6 and 8 send the direction pad, 5 or Enter sends the centre key, and Q and W send the two soft keys.

Key features

  • Vertical platform game
  • Original phone-era title
  • Distinct from the 2012 smartphone remake

Before you play

  • Read the in-game Help or Instructions screen before starting.
  • The preserved build may use a different language or screen size from another edition.
  • Browser emulation may behave differently from the original handset.
